About the Company: Signature Solutions is an I.T firm focused on providing the most qualitative, personalized and specialized information technology services, ranging from software implementation, web design and implementation, hardware installation network and Infrastructure.

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Staff will provide efficient and timely technical assistance to clients of the IT firm. They will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network problems, and ensuring smooth operation of the systems. The Technical Support Staff will communicate effectively with users to diagnose and resolve problems, document support activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical support processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients in person in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, CCTV, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and assist with network configurations.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and access rights in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
  • Document technical support activities, including issue details, resolution steps, and customer interactions, using the designated ticketing system.
  • Follow established procedures for incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide proactive support and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical support knowledge base articles, FAQs, and other support documentation.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in providing technical support to clients or end-users in an IT environment.
  • Solid understanding of hardware & software installation, and networking principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong dedication to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦70,000.00 - ₦80,000.00 per month
