Job Title: Customer Collection Officer
Location: Business Bay, Dubai
Salary: 3.5k AED per month
Must have a minimum 2 years of similar role experience.
Job Summary:
The Collection Officer is responsible for managing customer accounts and collecting overdue payments. The role requires effective communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to develop relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments. The Collection Officer must be able to maintain accurate records, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to discuss overdue payments and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all communication with customers, including notes on agreements and follow-up actions.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payments and resolve any disputes.
- Analyze customer accounts and payment history to identify potential issues and risks.
- Recommend and implement collection strategies to improve collection efficiency.
- Escalate collection issues to management when necessary.
- Provide regular reports to management on collection activities, trends, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to collections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop effective strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
