Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Manager - Manages the planning and execution of the operational audits. Is accountable for achieving all audit objectives within the prescribed timeline, and providing status and escalation of issues to the audit Director. Provides close supervision of the audit team.
- Demonstrates detailed understanding of the audit process, tools, standards, and procedures. Provides summary level understanding of operational processes, and is focused on building business understanding.
- Manages audit teams and may provide direct supervision to local staff (level 36 and under).
- Follows standards, ensures consistency in audit projects, drives execution and enhancements to GCIP (GIA Continuous Improvement Projects). May lead auditors in GCIP Projects.
- Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of audit staff at the projects completion. Evaluate and develop direct reports via IDP, EDR, continuous feedback, and annual performance review.
- Execute strategy, goals and objectives. Contribute to continuous improvement and refinement of strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Increases influence impact and aligns auditor management with issues and methodology. Contributes to auditor understanding and alignment with strategy and objectives.
- Performs work within the audit projects and assigned area of responsibility. Provides leadership to auditors. May lead SOX engagements, or other advisory projects.
