Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is an enabling role, providing leadership to the Customer Management and Sales teams around contract management, bid/RFP management, network engagement, customer reporting as well as overseeing centralised sales performance reporting and insights, incentive management and payments.
This is a key leadership role in the Customer Management and Sales team and will lead a team of 4 specialists.

In this you will get involved with:
  • Commercial contract Management – Management of contract framework to include processes, annual reviews, and training
  • Bid/RFP Management – Accountable for the bid framework and bid library development.
  • Sales Enablement - Support the customer management teams with key sales tools
  • Customer Network Engagement – Be the liaison between the network and customer teams
  • Reporting – Customer and Sales including insights.
  • Sales Incentive Management – Support the incentive programme development & manage the payment process.
This role sits in our Business Value Stream is all about NZ Post being recognised as the leading provider of delivery services and best partner for online shopping.
Mōu - About you

  • You will be an experienced leader and have operated withing an account management, sales, or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • You can bring strong knowledge of commercial contract management/ RFP processes with experience in negotiating complex contracts and pricing agreements with large business customers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • You are skilled at making numbers tell a story for you and you will have bent towards analytics
  • Having multiple projects and priorities on the go will be something very familiar to you.
  • People you interact with love every interaction they have and you'll easily develop strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • You'll be well versed in wrangling customer relationship management (CRM) software, sales automation tools, and other sales and marketing technologies.
