Duties and Responsibilities
- A desire to help people understand technical processes and features by creating and updating comprehensive documentation such as User Manuals, Training Materials, FAQs, Release Notes, Product Sheets that meets organizational standards and brand guidelines
- An open mind in developing content in alternative media forms such as videos, blogs and computer-based training materials to complement existing documentation
- A methodical approach to organize and develop documentation that contains a logical flow of information
- Enjoy collaborating with various departments to obtain the necessary understanding and to brainstorm ways to improve the documentation based on user feedback and preference
- Ability to think outside the box to generate new ideas and find innovative solutions to enhance existing content and workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Preferred 2-3 years’ experience as a writer or editor in a publishing house, or writing technical documentation and creating procedural/training materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, and ability to follow a standard style
- Ability to comprehend technical terms/features and explain it in words in a way that is easy to understand
- Ability to quickly learn and understand processes and features of software/apps/website portals and the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Possess good organizational skills with an eye for prioritization and has a methodical approach to documentation
- Added advantage with the following experiences: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Robohelp, Active
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM4,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
