AGS Burraboi is currently seeking applications for an experienced and motivated WMV Supervisor to join their Team.
The Depot Supervisor has responsibility to ensure the day to day running of the depot in accordance with AGS policies and procedures.
Primary Objectives:
Knowledge of aeration and grain quality monitoring
Sound understanding of rice shed preparation and hygiene issues
Planning skills, especially in grain segregation
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Leadership skills
Understanding of SHE and Quality systems
Computer literacy
Ensure that depot is able to receive grain as required, and that all requirements are in place so that this can be achieved
Maintain the depot in accordance with AGS policies in the areas of safety, hygiene and maintenance
Complete all reports as required
Ensure effective communication with Growers, AGS staff, Paddy Co-Ordinator and AGS
Ensure that all turning, sampling and testing activities are carried out correctly
Ensure that only known quality approved paddy is supplied to the mills
Ensure the Chemical Management program is followed and necessary training undertaken
Deal with grower questions and concerns
Efficient receival operations at specified receival rate
