Provider will work in a general outpatient mental health clinic. Duties include: Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and some limited psychotherapy. Provider works in the context of a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, licensed professional counselors, and other disciplines within the mental health field. Some coverage on the inpatient psychiatric until wi! ll be required when the regular NP/PA for that area is on leav! e. This coverage will include performing H&P on new admissions, monitoring medical condition of patients, and discharge summaries, and time will be blocked out for this activity as needed. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday,Generally 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, but may vary one or two days per week to provide early morning or late afternoon clinic hours. No night or weekend on-call duties are required.Location: Mental Health, VA Black Hills Health Care System, Fort Meade, SD
