The VA Black Hills Health Care System provides general medical, primary care, surgical, behavioral health, community living center and domiciliary care to Veterans residing in western South Dakota a! nd portions of Nebraska, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. Care is delivered through the Fort Meade (near Sturgis) and Hot Springs VA Medical Centers, as well as through a number of community-based outpatient and rural outreach clinics. VA Black Hills is part of the VA Midwest Health Care Network (VISN 23).
