The Role
Under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Associate will coordinate BetterNight’s efforts to deliver email, SMS and mobile-centric experiences to key audiences in the BetterNight ecosystem. This role will assist in mapping consumer journeys for email, SMS/MMS and other channels within the BetterNight’s SugarCRM / Marketing Automation platform and will do so in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams. The Digital Marketing Associate must have a strong background in content planning, email marketing, SMS /mobile marketing, journey mapping, and be fluent in full funnel strategy and measurement.
As the Digital Marketing Associate you would:
- Understand lifecycle marketing and integrate with stakeholder teams to map consumer journeys that deliver desired results
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and mobile-centric advertising
- Align with Sales and Operations teams to ensure we deliver seamless, cross-channel, personalized patient experiences that tell the brand story from first to final touch
- Execute on marketing priorities related to email/SMS/mobile planning driven by Sales and Operations
- Craft impactful consumer journeys as the creative strategist to drive premium content for all major BetterNight campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to deliver personalized, visually compelling, creatively strong email, SMS & Mobile content to specific segments of consumers
- Process data and analytics to provide audience segmentation, prioritization and A/B test messaging to improve conversion from lead to contact
- Deliver actionable first party and lookalike audiences to Media team for execution across key media touchpoints
- Work alongside data & analytics teams in the process of audience segmentation, prioritization, and stitching in the BetterNight Energy consumer data platform (CDP)
- Understand segmentation of audiences based on behaviors, engagements, and interactions (web, email, etc.)
- Coordinate day-to-day communication with both internal cross-functional stakeholders and external with key account teams and related partners (SaaS), vendors or other entities
- Identify opportunities for new projects where BetterNight can grow impact in CRM related marketing efforts, either with current or new potential partners or methods
- Assist data & analytics stakeholders with CRM channel performance measurement
- Maintain a strong understanding of CRM / email / SMS / Mobile best practices, compliance, legal guides and other information that ensures BetterNight remains consumer-first in its approach and aligned to legal
- Develop documentation and road maps for processes, standard operating procedures, A/B tests, and campaigns that succeed through email, SMS and mobile wallet
- Adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines keeping information confidential and secure
- Manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
You will be a great fit for us if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business or other relevant field
- 2+ years of experience working with CRM / email / SMS marketing including journey mapping, full funnel sequence building, marketing automation planning and measurement, etc.
- Experience with SugarCRM and SugarMarket (marketing automation platform) is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Saas/Marketing Automation software, Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Healthcare / DME experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Consumer Data Platforms (CDPs) is preferred
- Knowledge of current CRM / email / SMS trends & emerging platforms is preferred
- Must be results-oriented, detail-obsessed, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Must be able to work remote efficiently, productively, and professionally
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and positive
- Must possess strong communication skills on the phone, in person and via email
- Ability to think critically and creatively, and present new ideas clearly
- Ability to work under limited supervision, but must be a team player
