Device Manufacturing & Sourcing is looking to expand our team with both senior and junior engineers to support our high-volume automated assembly lines as well as execute optimisation projects and help develop our systems and processes for the benefit of our customers.

About the department

You will join Pre-assembly Production in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 180 colleagues and work in 7 teams. We produce the mechanical Motor Module in Novo Nordisk’s newest prefilled devices FlexTouch® and FlexPro®. We deliver large quantities to our sister factories in “Injectable Finished Products” and “Biotech and Rare Diseases”.
We are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by ensuring high quality components at a competitive cost for our customers within prefilled devices. The position

You will be part of a team of highly skilled engineers that support our global production network (Europe/China/US), handles improvements, upgrades, and expansion of production capacity with a global production perspective. Your role will be a Process Owner, and your tasks will among others be:

  • Being part of designing and specifying new machines together with our supplier
  • Drive and participate in validation activities
  • Contribute with your mechanical insights in the tune-up and ramp-up phases of our new assembly machines
  • Identify and drive improvement projects across our international sites
  • Use systematic problem solving and a LEAN mindset to solve production issues
  • Collaborate across many functional areas and with people from different backgrounds

Qualifications

You probably have an academic degree with a background in automation and mechanical engineering. Furthermore, knowledge/experience with:

  • GMP production environments and Licence-to-Operate requirements
  • CAM and servo-controlled machines
  • Cognex vision systems, software, setup, error detection and optimization are an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Machine learning and advanced analytics is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As a person, you have a proactive approach and are good at establishing relations with other people while communicating constructively. You have the ability to work flexibly as is required when working in a production environment. Finally, as all members of the production you can communicate in both Danish and English.
