Key job responsibilities:
- The Operations Excellence Manager will be responsible to increase productivity by using Lean 6S tools and continuous improvement management leading the OPX Team;
- Leads and directs the Industry 4.0 team to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products and processes.
- Partner with functional leaders and employees to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities. Manage a robust review process for selecting, scoping and prioritizing L6S initiatives
- Planning and assisting the execution of various Lean Six Sigma projects targeted towards improving the operations, processes, methods, tools, systems audit
- Act as a key driver of change within the plant, supporting employees and functional leaders in all aspects related to continuous improvement and process reengineering
- Ensure the integration of best practices into standardized procedures
- Collaborate with the Quality lead ensuring all problems are resolved using root cause analysis and corrective actions are deployed and properly maintained
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in a continuous improvement environment in production area
- Experience leading successful continuous improvement and L6S projects
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to train, guide & mentor others in the use of L6S methodology
- Demonstrated ability to independently create functional & cost effective environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Very good English or German language skills
