Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. currently an immediate opening for a GOMACO OPERATOR position.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Gomaco Operator
- Ability to operate Gomaco in a safe manner
- Ability to work safely and stay alert to surroundings at all times
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Performing routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation of the Gomaco
- Advising foremen and the shop of any issues or repairs are required on assigned equipment
- Willingness and ability to assist the ground crew when Gomaco not in use
- Install molds and trimmer head on equipment.
- Ability to set machine to grades as required on site plans.
- Understanding of specific material slump for various types of concrete structures.
- Must understand offsets and grades marked off string line.
- Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties
- Withstand working outside, on uneven ground for longer periods of time and in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Pass mandatory Drug, Alcohol and Fitness Testing.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation
