Description: Department of Veterans Affairs is looking of Psychiatrist (Physician) right now, this occupation will be placed in South Dakota. For detail informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. Duties will include evaluations and management of veterans in the general Mental Health outpatient clinic. Some services may be provided via telepsychiatry. The clinic team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, LPCs, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. On call coverage for the emergency room and 10 bed inpatient unit is shared with 5 other psychiatrists throughout the VA Black Hills Health Care System and is generally light. Opportunity exists to teach third and fourth year medical students, PA students, and psycholog! y interns.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbe! nt should be physically and mentally capable to perform the duties of the position. Physical activites include sitting, standing (up to 2 hours), walking (up to 2 hours), heavy lifting (45 pounds or over), reaching above the shoulder, and repeated bending.
