QuarterLine Consulting Services (QuarterLine) provides professional health care staffing services to military hospitals and health clinics across the United States. We are currently seeking a Psychiatri! st for a position at Ellsworth AFB in Ellsworth, South Dakota.
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric disorders. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: Preparing and reviewing case histories and obtaining and evaluating data through interviews; Prescribing and evaluating effectiveness of a wide range of therapeutic measures; Recommending disposition of psychiatric cases; Advising on problems related to mental health and prevention of mental disorders; Serving as medical and psychiatric consultant to clinical psychologists and clinical social workers; Advising on kind and quantity of psychiatric supplies and equipment; Coordinating psychiatric services with other medical activities; and instructing interns and residents in psychiatric principles and procedures. The psychiatrist will work Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
Current board certification by the Amer! ican Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Completion of ! residency or fellowship in psychiatry acceptable to the Surgeon General, HQ USAF.
Possess an active, unrestricted license in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
At least 24 months of experience within the last 36 months.
