SUMMARY: The Support Specialist performs diverse duties that contribute to the efficient functioning of University Psychiatry Associates. This includes providing support servic! es to the clinic Director including management of their schedule, providing clerical duties, organizing and distributing meeting agendas and taking minutes, screening calls, preparing reports, interacting with other areas within Avera and other organizations. The Support Specialist will assist the clinic Director in service recovery efforts. The Support Specialist would also have primary responsibility for providing support services for clinic providers, particularly forensic psychiatry. The Support Specialist must be able to function in a busy, complex clinic environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree required.
- Relevant post-high school certificate or degree preferred.
- Secretarial experience in a similar work environment preferred.
